Green Pea-Onion Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 10-oz. packages frozen green peas | ||
| 1 20-oz. package frozen onions | ||
| Whipping cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), Whipped | |
| Mayonnaise | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 head Boston lettuce | ||
| 1 sm. celery heart, thinly sliced | ||
| Sweet pickle relish | 2 Tablespoon, drained | |
Directions
Cook frozen vegetables according to package direc- tions; drain.
Cool thoroughly.
Combine whipped -cream and mayonnaise.
Line salad bowl with large outer leaves of lettuce.
Break remaining lettuce in bite-sized pieces; add peas, onions, celery and pickle relish.
Pour whipped cream mixture over salad.
Toss lightly.
Serve in salad bowl.
