Green Hills Brisket Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 4 to 5 lb. flat beef brisket | ||
| Brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 a vinegar | ||
| Catsup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce | ||
| 6 dashes soy sauce | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Line broiler pan or flat pan with foil; place beef in pan.
Salt and pepper well; wrap in foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Reduce heat to 300 degrees; bake 2 hours.
Combine sugar, vinegar, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
Drain grease from brisket.
Add 3/4 of the sauce.
Wrap foil loosely around meat; cook 1 hour.
About 20 to 30 minutes before serving, add remaining sauce.
