Green Goddess Salad Bowl Recipe
I doubt if anyone would have ever tried the Jell-O magic in a salad bowl! Yes, Green Goddess Salad Bowl is just what you need to give it a try! Surper delicious, dead easy and simple, this Green Goddess Salad Bowl is a great dis to serve on any occasion!
Ingredients
2 packages (3 oz. each) or 1 package (6 oz.) Jell-O Lime Gelatin
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
2 cups boiling water
11/2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 cans (2 oz. each) anchovies, finely chopped
2 quarts bite size pieces salad greens
2 cans {1 1/2 oz. each) crab meat
2 avocados, peeled and sliced
Directions
Dissolve gelatin, garlic salt, salt, and pepper in boiling water.
Add sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, and anchovies.
Beat until well blended.
Pour into two 8-inch square pans.
Chill until firm at least one hour.
Just before serving, cut gelatin into small cubes, about 1/2 inch square.
Pile gelatin cubes in center of shallow bowl; arrange salad greens, crabmeat and avocado around edge.
