Green Beans With Pearl Onions And Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound fresh green beans
18 pearl onions
1 cup water
1 teaspoon dried whole tarragon
1 medium tomato, coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Directions
Remove strings from beans, wash and cut beans into 2-inch pieces.
Place beans, onions, water, and tarragon in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 18 minutes or until tender.
Add tomato; cover and cook 2 minutes.
Stir in vinegar and pepper; toss well.
