 1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans, washed, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Butter/Margarine3 Tablespoon
 Ground nutmeg1/4 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

Place beans in saucepan with boiling salted water.
Bring to boiling point and boil for 5 minutes.
Cover and cook until tender-crisp, about 10 minutes.
Drain.
Toss lightly with butter or margarine, nutmeg, and pepper.
