GETTING READY
1. Drain pineapple and then reserve the juice for later.

MAKING
2. Wash and clean the beans and then cook them in hot water. Drain the beans and then reserve a 1/3 cup liquid for later.
3. In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch, salt and butter and add reserved bean liquid, pineapple liquid and vinegar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 3 minutes.
4. Add beans and pineapple, heat through
