Green Tomato Jam Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 kg. large green tomatoes, chopped | ||
| Sugar | 800 Gram | |
| Ginger | 1 1/2 Tablespoon, grated | |
| 1 tbsp. grated orange ring | ||
| Orange juice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cinnamon | 1 2 Inch | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Place the sugar, chopped tomatoes, grated ginger, orange zest, orange juice and the water in a large pan. Mix gently and set aside for 1 hour so that the sugar melts.
After an hour, place the pan on a low flame and allow to simmer slowly. When the jam starts to thicken, remove from the fire and cool.
Put into jars and refrigerate.
