2 cups (500 ml) sugar
3 eggs

1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
1 cup (250 ml) brown sugar
1/2 cup (125 ml) butter
1 cup (250 ml) icing sugar

How to make Green Tomato Cake

–  Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
–  Butter a cake pan.
–  In a bowl, beat oil, sugar and eggs.
–  In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and soda.
–  Add tomatoes and cherries. Stir and then blend with oil and egg mixture, alternating with dry ingredients.
–  Add vanilla extract and stir.
–  Pour batter into the pan and bake 1 1/4 hours.
–  Remove from oven; let stand on wire rack to cool.
