Green Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chicken broth | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| White rice - 2 cups, packaged precooked | ||
| Herb-and-garlic salad dressing - 1/2 cup, bottled | ||
| Green onions or parsley - 1/2 cup, chopped | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water, the instant chicken broth, pepper and butter to boiling uncovered.
2. Stir in rice, remove from heat and let it stand covered, 5 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
3. Fluff up with fork and add salad dressing and onion mixing gently with fork.
SERVING
4. Green Rice may be served hot or cold.
