Green Rice Recipe
Green Rice is one dish which you cannot resist making again and again. Green Rice gets its taste from Rice. A great Main Dish recipe is one like this. Have faith in me and try this Green Rice.
Ingredients
1 cup rice, steamed
1 cup shredded American or mild Cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup (1/8 lb.) butter or margarine, melted
1/2 medium-sized onion, chopped
Directions
Combine cold cooked rice and remaining ingredients.
Turn into a well-greased 2-quart casserole and bake uncovered in a 350° oven about 45 minutes, or until set and slightly browned.
