Green Pepper Cheese Broil Recipe
Ingredients
1 strip bacon
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) butter
1 package (3 oz.) pimiento cream cheese
3 tablespoons finely chopped green pepper
1 clove of garlic, mashed or minced
1 egg
8 thin slices bread
Directions
Dice bacon and fry until crisp.
Cream butter with cream cheese.
Stir in bacon and drippings, green pepper, and garlic.
Beat egg lightly and stir in, blending thoroughly.
Trim crusts off bread and cut each slice in quarters or narrow strips.
Toast one side of bread under broiler; remove from oven.
Turn bread over and spread cheese mixture on untoasted side.
Return to oven and broil until cheese bubbles and browns slightly.
