Green Peas With Celery And Ripe Olives Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups celery, sliced at an angle into 2-inch pieces
2 tablespoons salad oil
2 packages (10 oz. each) frozen peas broken apart or partly thawed
About 20 large pitted ripe olives, cut in half lengthwise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Set controls of electric frying pan at low temperature (225°).
Cover and cook celery in oil for 10 minutes; shake occasionally.
Add peas; cover and continue cooking at same temperature for 5 or- 6 minutes longer, shake several times.
Stir in olives, salt, and pepper.
Set temperature at warm and serve from electric frying pan
