Ingredients

 Green peas8 Ounce, dried
 Pork fat1/4 Cup (16 tbs), salted
 Water7 Cup (16 tbs)
 Onion1 , finely sliced
 Carrot1 , diced
 Bay leaf
 Celery leaves2 Teaspoon, finley sliced
 Parsley sprigs5
 Chopped1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

–  In a stove-top casserole, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring from time to time.
–  Remove pork fat. Run soup through blender. Adjust seasoning. Decorate with a few small chunks of pork fat and serve.
