Green Pea And Swiss Cheese Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 pounds peas in shell | ||
| Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime | ||
| Olive oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), chopped | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| Swiss Cheese | 2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| 1 tablespoon finely chopped dill | ||
| Lettuce | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Shell peas and place in a saucepan.
Add 1/4 cup water.
Cook 7-10 minutes or until tender.
Drain peas and refresh in cold water to set the color.
Put into a bowl and add the lemon or lime juice, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Mix well.
Add the celery, cheese, and dill.
Mix again and serve from a lettuce-lined bowl.
