Green Or Wax Beans Au Gratin Recipe
Ingredients
| Italian green | 1 pound, drained | |
| 1 1/2 cups hot Cheese Sauce or Mornay Sauce | ||
| 1/2 cup coarsely grated sharp Cheddar cheese | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon, melted | |
Directions
GETTING READY
(1) Preheat the broiler.
MAKING
(2) Arrange beans in an ungreased 2-quart baking dish or shallow casserole
(3) Coat with sauce
(4) Sprinkle cheese on top
(5) Place small blobs of butter.
(6) Place the dish in the oven 5 inch from heat and broil for 3 to 4 minutes until bubbly and cheese has melted and turned golden brown.
SERVING
(7) Serve straight out of the baking dish while it is hot.
