 4 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
 Dried marjoram1/4 Teaspoon, crushed
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING
1 Bias-slice the white portions and 4 inches of the green portions of the green onions into 1-inch pieces.Set aside.
2 In a 1-quart casserole,place bacon and cover with white paper towels.
3 Cook on 100% power (high) for 3-5 minutes or till crisp,stirring once.
4 Drain the bacon, reserving 1 tablespoon of the drippings in the casserole.
5 Cook onion, marjoram, and pepper in the reserved bacon drippings, covered, on high for 3 to 5 minutes or till onion is tender, stirring once.
Stir in bacon.

SERVING
6 Serve with beef, pork, lamb, or poultry.
