Ingredients

 
8 Brussels sprouts, halved
 
1/2 cup (125 ml) broccoli, cut into flowerets
 
1/2 cup (60 ml) snow peas, finely sliced
 
4 tsp (20 ml) butter
 
12 oz (341 ml) canned green peas
 
Salt and pepper
 
Nutmeg
 
1/4 cup (60 ml) raw spinach, finely shredded

Directions

–  In a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water, blanch Brussels sprouts for 4 minutes. Add broccoli and snow peas and boil for 2 minutes. Drain under cold running water and set aside.
–  In a skillet, melt butter and saute Brussels sprouts, snow peas and broccoli for 2 minutes, then add green peas, and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
–  Add spinach just before serving.
