Green Leaf Brown Rice With Garlic Chives Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 cup (240 ml) sliced baby leeks and/or scallions
 
1-2 tbs (15-30 ml) canola oil
 
1 cup (240 ml) brown rice sea salt, to taste
 
2 cups (480 ml) water black pepper, to taste
 
2 tbs (30 ml) garlic chives
 
2 tbs (30 ml) thyme, chopped yogurt.

Directions

Lightly sauté leeks in canola oil until translucent.
Add brown rice, sea salt to taste and water.
Season with black pepper, bring to a boil and simmer about 45 minutes.
When rice is cooked and fluffed, add garlic chives and chopped thyme.
