Green Chili Pork Recipe
|Vegetable oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Loin pork||3 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes|
|Onion||1 Large, peeled|
|Red bell pepper||1 , diced|
|Green bell pepper||1 , diced|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), peeled|
|Jalapeno pepper||1 , minced|
|Dried oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cumin||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced cilantro||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), divided|
|Chopped green chilies||8 Ounce, drained|
|Dairy sour cream/Light sour cream / plain yogurt||1 Cup (16 tbs)|

Add pork in batches and cook each batch about 4 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
Using a slotted spoon, remove pork to a plate.
Add onion, red and green bell peppers, garlic, jalapeno pepper, oregano and cumin to pan; mix well.
Cook, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes, or until vegetables are softened.
Return pork to pan; add water, vinegar, salt and half the cilantro.
Simmer, uncovered, over very low heat for 1 to 1-1/2 hours, or until pork is tender.
Stir in remaining cilantro and green chilies.
Serve hot with warm flour tortillas, lime wedges and sour cream.
Microwave method: Drizzle oil over pork in a 3-quart microwave-safe baking dish; stir to coat.
Microwave, covered, on High (100 percent) power 8 minutes, stirring once.
Stir in onion, red and green bell peppers, garlic, jalapeno pepper, oregano and cumin.
Microwave on High, covered, 4 minutes.
Stir in water, vinegar and salt.
Microwave, covered, on Medium (50 percent) power 40 minutes.
Add cilantro and green chilies; stir to combine.
Taste and adjust seasonings.
