Green Beans With Dill Recipe
Green beans with dill is a herbed green beans recipe. Tossed with lemon juice for taste, it is seasoned to taste and goes great with rice or casseroles.
Ingredients
1 pound green beans, trimmed
1 1/2 teaspoons unsalted margarine
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons snipped fresh dill or 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
Directions
In a large saucepan, bring an inch of unsalted water to a boil; add the green beans and cook, covered, for 6 to 7 minutes or until just tender.
Drain in a colander, rinse under cold running water to stop the cooking, and drain again.
In the same saucepan, melt the margarine over moderate heat; return the beans to the pan and toss for 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.
