Green Beans Risi Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 9-ounce package frozen no-salt-added green beans or 1 16-ounce can no-salt-added | ||
| French-style green beans | ||
| 2 tablespoons acceptable margarine | ||
| Cooked rice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Scallions | 3 Tablespoon, sliced | |
| Lemon juice | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | To Taste | |
| Filberts | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), toasted | |
| Pimiento | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
Cook frozen green beans according to package directions, or heat canned beans.
Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt margarine.
Stir in beans, rice, scallions, lemon juice and pepper.
When heated thoroughly, turn into a serving dish and sprinkle with filberts and pimiento.
