Green Beans And Julienned Celery Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 pounds young green beans | ||
| 2 large ribs of celery, about 10 inches long | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Juice of 1/2 lemon | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Cut off ends of beans.
Cut ribs of celery in 2-inch lengths and julienne.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and drop beans in to cook for about 7-8 minutes.
Remove and refresh in cold water.
Add julienne celery and cook for 5-7 minutes.Taste for tender-crunch vegetables.
Drain vegetables.
Mix together.
Add butter and squeeze on lemon juice.
Season with salt and pepper.
Reheat.
