Ingredients

 
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) green beans, tips removed
 
Salt and pepper
 
3 tbsp (45 ml) butter
 
1/4 cup (60 ml) almond slivers
 
2 tbsp (30 ml) chopped parsley

Directions

–  In a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water, cook green beans for 5 minutes, drain, season with salt and pepper, then set aside.
–  In a skillet, melt butter and saute almonds. Add green beans and parsley, stir and serve.
