Green Bean Casserole With Pimiento Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 9-ounce packages or one 16-ounce package frozen French-style green beans | ||
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 3 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| Condensed cream of mushroom soup | 1 10 3/4 Ounce | |
| Plain yogurt | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pimiento | 2 Tablespoon, diced | |
Directions
Cook green beans according to package directions.
Drain well.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan cook onion in butter until tender.
Stir in bread crumbs.
Set aside.
In a large bowl stir together soup, yogurt, and the 2 tablespoons pimiento.
Stir in green beans.
Transfer to a 1 1/2quart casserole.
Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
