2 packages (9 ounces each) frozen cut green beans
 
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
 
1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained
 
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
 
1 can (3 ounces) french-fried onion rings

Directions

1. Put beans into a 2-quart glass casserole. Cover with an all-glass lid or plastic wrap. Cook in microwave oven 9 minutes at High, or until beans are tender; stir once. Drain.
2. Add mushroom soup, water chestnuts and cheese to beans; mix. Cover with an all-glass lid or plastic wrap. Cook in microwave oven 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 minutes at Medium-High. Stir. Top with onion rings. Heat uncovered to serving temperature (about 1 1/2 minutes at Medium-High).
