Green Apple Pie Recipe
Ingredients
Unbaked double crust
7 cup sliced green apples (unpeeled)
1/2 cup granulated fructose
2 tsp apple juice
3 tsp cornstarch
1 egg white
1 tsp Water
Directions
Combine apple slices, fructose, apple juice, and cornstarch in a bowl.
Toss to mix.
Transfer to 9 inch (23 cm) pastry-lined pie pan.
Adjust top crust, and flute or pinch edges.
Then score top to allow steam to escape.
Combine egg white and water, and beat slightly.
Brush top crust with egg-water mixture.
Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 50 to 60 minutes or until top becomes lightly browned.
