Greek-Style Shrimp With Feta Recipe
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), peeled and mashed|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Green bell pepper||1 , diced|
|Ripe tomatoes||4 , diced|
|Dry white wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Uncooked shrimp||1 1⁄2 Pound, peeled and deveined|
|Crumbled feta cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|

Saute the garlic, onion and bell pepper for 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and wine; simmer until thick and pulpy.
Stir in the shrimp.
Cook for 5 to 10 minutes or until firm and pink, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon into a serving dish; sprinkle with the feta cheese.
Serve over rice mixed with melted butter, cloves and pine nuts or slivered almonds.
