Greek Style Rice Recipe
This Greek Style Rice can be made ahead ready to serve your spouse or his friends on demand.
Ingredients
| Brown rice | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Spinach | 1/4 pound | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 3 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Ground black pepper | To Taste |
Directions
Soak rice in water for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Add onion to rice and soaking water and cook 17 to 20 minutes, until rice is tender and water has been absorbed.
Wash spinach and drain; tear into small pieces.
When rice is ready, stir in spinach and lemon juice and season with pepper.
Stir until spinach begins to wilt.
