1 slightly beaten egg
1/4 cup cream style cottage cheese
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 tablespoons fine dry seasoned bread crumbs
2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 pound lean ground beef or lamb
8 manicotti shells
1 recipe Cream Sauce
1 recipe Eggplant Relish (optional)
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions
Microwave directions: For filling, in a medium mixing bowl combine the egg, cottage cheese, tomato paste, bread crumbs, celery, onion, garlic salt, and the 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
Add the beef or lamb; mix well.
