Greek Spinach Quiche Recipe
The flavor of this Greek Spinach Quiche recipe has played on my senses so much that I hardly ever go for any other Greek Spinach Quiche recipe. Now won't you thank me for sharing this Greek Spinach Quiche recipe.
Ingredients
Pastry for 9-inch pie 1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach
1 cup milk
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of ground nutmeg
Directions
Line a 9-inch quiche dish with pastry, trim excess pastry around edges.
Prick bottom and sides of pastry with a fork.
Bake at 400° for 3 minutes, remove from oven, and prick with a fork.
Bake 5 minutes.
Cook spinach according to package directions, omitting salt.
Drain spinach thoroughly, pressing out excess water.
Combine spinach and remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl, mix well.
Pour mixture into prepared pastry shell.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
