Greek Honey Pie Recipe
Greek Honey Pie is one of the tastiest dessert I have come across. This delicious Greek Honey Pie can be served for a grand dinner or as a simple treat for your family!
Ingredients
| Cottage cheese ricotta | 250 Gram | |
| Clear honey | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| 2 tablespoons castor sugar | ||
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 uncooked 18cm pie shell | ||
| A little extra cinnamon | ||
Directions
Place cheese, honey, eggs, sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a blender and whirl until smooth. Or push cheese through a sieve, then mix thoroughly with remaining ingredients. Pour into the pastry shell and bake in a preheated hot oven 200C (400F) until pastry is cooked and filling set (about 35 minutes). Remove from oven, sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon and leave on a wire rack in a cool place. Serve warm or cold.
