Greek Turkey Burgers with Yogurt Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 /2 cup plain fat-free yogurt | ||
| Red onion | 1 /4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (SAUCE) | |
| Cucumber | 1 /4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (SAUCE) | |

| 1 lb lean ground turkey | ||
| 1 /2 cup plain fat-free yogurt | ||
| Oregano leaves | 1 Teaspoon, dried (SAUCE) | |
| Garlic powder | 1 /2 Teaspoon (SAUCE) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (SAUCE) | |
| Pepper | 1 /2 Teaspoon (SAUCE) | |
| Whole wheat hamburger buns | 4 (SAUCE) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1 In a small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.
2 Set the oven control to broil.
MAKING
3 In a medium bowl mix all burger ingredients except buns.Shape the mixture into patties each about 1/2 inch thick and 5 inches in diameter.Place on the rack in a broiler pan.
4 Broil the patties with tops about 6 inches from the heat for 8 to 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes, until thermometer inserted in the center reads 165 degrees farenheit. Place the patties on buns.
SERVING
5 Serve with sauce.
