Greek Style Shrimp with Shells Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 large clove garlic, minced | ||
| Italian tomatoes | 4 Large, peeled | |
| 12 Greek olives, pitted | ||
| Dried oregano | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red pepper flakes | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper salt | 1 To taste | |
| Dry white wine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Minced | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 3/4 pound cooked, shelled large shrimp | ||
| 1/2 pound medium shell macaroni, cooked according to package directions | ||
| 1/2 cup loosely packed crumbled feta cheese | ||
Directions
Heat the oil in a large skillet.
Saute the garlic but don't brown it.
Add the tomatoes, olives, and seasoning.
Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
Add the wine and simmer 10 more minutes.
Add the parsley and shrimp, bring back to a simmer, and remove from the heat.
Spoon the hot cooked macaroni into a serving dish.
Stir in the feta cheese; ladle the sauce over the top.
