Greek Salad Recipe
The Greek Salad is an incredible dish made with greens, vegetables ,anchovies. The gorgeous seasoning has a variety of herbs and green onions in tarragon vinegar, olive oil and pepper seasonings. Anything Greek is always beautiful. No wonder an exceptionally handsome man is called a Greek God ! This Greek Salad is no less than a Greek God when it comes to food ! Ingredients
1/4 head of iceberg lettuce
1/4 head of romaine
18 medium sized radishes
1/4 pound crumbled Feta cheese
1 small can (2 oz.) anchovy fillets, minced
2 medium sized tomatoes, cut in small pieces
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
Freshly ground pepper
Dressing
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons mixed fresh herbs (marjoram, rosemary, tarragon, savory, chives, chervil or parsley)
2 bunches green onions and tops
Directions
Two hours before serving, tear the lettuce and ro maine into a salad bowl.
Add whole radishes, cheese, anchovies, tomatoes, parsley, oregano, and freshly ground pepper.
Toss gently, cover with a damp tea towel, and chill.
For the dressing, shake together in a pint bottle oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and herbs.
When ready to serve, pour dressing over salad and toss.
Poke green onions straight up in center of salad.
Add whole radishes, cheese, anchovies, tomatoes, parsley, oregano, and freshly ground pepper.
