Greek Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
| Nonstick cooking spray | ||
| 1 16-ounce loaf frozen honey wheat bread dough or whole wheat bread dough, thawed | ||
| Lean ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 1 cup bottled light spaghetti sauce | ||
| 2 10-ounce packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained | ||
| Tomato | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Monterey jack cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Feta cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), crumbled | |
Directions
Lightly coat a 12-inch pizza pan or a 13x9x2-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
Press bread dough into the prepared pan, forming a 1-inch edge.
Prick dough several times with a fork.
Bake in a 375° oven for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven.Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook ground beef, onion, and garlic about minutes or until meat is brown.
Drain fat.
Stir in spaghetti sauce; set aside.
Squeeze all of the liquid from thawed spinach.
Sprinkle the spinach over hot baked crust.
Spoon the meat mixture over spinach.
Sprinkle with tomato, Monterey Jack cheese, and feta cheese.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until cheese golden brown.
