Greek Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound ground lamb
1 egg
1/3 cup cracker crumbs
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon cumin
1/2 cup slivered almonds or pine nuts
Directions
1. In a medium mixing bowl, blend lamb, egg, and cracker crumbs. Add soy sauce, water, ginger, garlic powder, cumin, and almonds or pine nuts. Mix thoroughly. Shape in 1-inch meatballs.
2. Arrange 10 meatballs in a circle in a 9-inch glass pie plate. Cook, covered, 3 to 4 minutes, rotating dish one-quarter turn halfway through cooking time. Cook longer if needed.
