Greek Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| Unsalted butter | 2 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| Confectioner’s sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg yolk | 1 , beaten | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Baking soda | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Warm water | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cake flour | 3 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Confectioners' sugar | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper.
Cream butter, 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar and egg yolk in mixer bowl until smooth.
Add vanilla and baking soda dissolved in warm water; mix well.
Add just enough flour to form a soft dough; mix until smooth.
Shape into small crescents; place on prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Coat hot cookies with confectioners' sugar.
Cool on wire rack.
