Great Bean Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
2 cup Great Northern beans, cooked
1 cube chicken bouillon
1 cup boiling water
1 tsp cornstarch
3 tsp cold water
1 cup broccoli stems, chopped
3 tsp onion, chopped
1/2 lb. freshly ground pork, cooked
1 tsp salt
Directions
Place beans in 1 1/2 qt. (1 1/2 L) casserole.
Dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water; pour over beans.
Dissolve cornstarch in cold water; add to beans.
Add broccoli, onion, pork and salt.
Stir to completely mix.
Cover tightly.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 2 hours or until beans are completely tender, adding more water, if needed.
