Grasshopper Parfaits Recipe
My love for Grasshopper Parfaits developed during high school days. I never fail to eat Dessert while dining out and this is the most common dish that I order. When it comes to cooking I am my worst critic. Kindly comment and let me know how is this Grasshopper Parfaits.
Ingredients
2 1 1//2-ounce envelopes dessert topping mix
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons green creme de menthe
1 tablespoon white creme de cacao
1 cup coarsely crumbled chocolate chip cookies
Directions
In mixing bowl combine first 4 ingredients; mix using low speed of electric mixer.
Beat at high speed about 2 minutes or till soft peaks form; beat 2 minutes more.
Layer mixture into parfait glasses, using about 2 tablespoons cookie crumbs between each layer.
Top with a piece of crumbled cookie.
Chill in freezer till serving time.
Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
