Grapefruit With Meringue Topping Recipe
Ingredients
| Grapefruit | 1/2 Medium | |
| Egg white | 1 Medium | |
| Cream of tartar | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Dash |
Directions
With a knife, loosen the pulp from grapefruit; discard seeds and tough center membrane.
In a medium bowl beat egg white with cream of tartar and salt until it stands in peaks.
Pile mixture on top of grapefruit.
Place in small foil pan.
Bake at 350°F.
for 10 to 12 minutes or until topping begins to brown.
