 Grapes2 Cup (32 tbs), washed
 Quick cooking tapioca2 Tablespoon
 Pastry shell9 Inch (made with shortcrust pastry)
 Apple sauce2 Cup (32 tbs)
 Sugar8 Ounce
 Water1⁄2 Pint
 Whipped cream1 Tablespoon

Directions

Cook grapes for about 10 minutes in a little water in a covered saucepan over a moderate heat.
Rub through strainer, add sugar, apple sauce and water and return to heat.
Stir in tapioca and cook until clear, then turn into pastry shell.
Top with whipped cream before serving.
