Grape Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Pastry for 9" two-crust pie | ||
| 4 cups stemmed Concord grapes | ||
| Granulated Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/2 tablesp. lemon juice | ||
| 1 tablesp. grated orange rind | ||
| Quick-cooking tapioca | 1 | |
Directions
Make and bake as Fresh Apple Pie or Trellis Pie.
For filling, slip grapes out of skins; save skins.
Cook pulp until seeds loosen; press through coarse sieve.
Mix sieved pulp, skins, sugar, lemon juice, orange rind, and tapioca.
Let stand 5 min. before using.
