Grant Street Pilaf Recipe
Grant Street Pilaf is a perfect side dish to chicken, lamb or pork. Grant Street Pilaf is definitely one of my favorites to serve my family and friends. So follow the instructions, roll up your sleeves and serve this supper yummy Grant Street Pilaf side dish.
Ingredients
| 1 20 ounce can Dole Pineapple Chunks, in syrup | ||
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger root | ||
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup long-grain brown rice | ||
| Rosemary | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Green onion | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Toasted slivered almonds | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Drain pineapple syrup into saucepan.
Add water and bring to boil.
Stir in rice and rosemary.
Cover and simmer 35 to 45 minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Mix in pineapple chunks and remaining ingredients and heat through.
