Granola for Babies Recipe
Ingredients
| Old-fashioned oats - 4 cups | ||
| Sesame seeds | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sunflower seeds | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Wheat germ | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Unsweetened coconut | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Non-instant dry milk - 1/2 cup | ||
| Honey | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Safflower oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Almonds | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Raisins | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Preheat the oven to 300F
MAKING
2.In a large bowl, toss well oats with sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, unsweetened coconut, non instant dry milk.
3.Combine honey, vanilla and oil and pour into the oat mixture.
4.Stir well.
5.Transfer the mixture to a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
6.When last 5 minutes are left add almonds and raisins.
7.Once done, allow the pan to cool.
SERVING
8.Serve warm or store in jar for later use.
