Granola Bars Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup lowfat granola | ||
| 1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal | ||
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 Large | |
| Egg white | 1 | |
| 1/4 cup liquid fructose | ||
| Cooking oil | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 tsp granulated brown sugar replacement | ||
Directions
Combine granola, oatmeal, and flour in a mixing bowl.
Stir to blend.
Combine egg and egg white in a small bowl or cup.
Beat until well blended.
Pour into cereal mixture.
Add liquid fructose, cooking oil, and brown sugar replacement.
Stir thoroughly until the mixture is completely coated with liquid.
Completely line an 8 x 8 in. (20 x 20 cm) baking pan with foil.
(You'll use this foil to remove cookie mixture from pan.) Grease foil with a vegetable oil spray.
Press cookie mixture into the bottom of the pan.
Bake at 325°F (165°C) for 30 to 35 minutes, or until lightly browned around the edges.
Remove pan from oven.
Remove foil with cookie mixture from pan to a rack.
Cool.
