Ingredients
2 cups quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup soy flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup commeal
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup non-fat dry milk powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
1 cup raisins
1 cusp dried apple slices
1/2 cup snipped dried apricots
1/2 cup diced dried pineapple
Directions
1. In a large bowl mix together the oats, soy flour, wheat germ, corn-meal, sesame seeds, dry milk, sugar, pulverized sunflower seeds, oil and water. Mix very well.
2. Spread in shallow baking pans so that the layers are not thicker than 1 inch. Bake in a 300-degree oven until golden, about 35 minutes. Stir several times. Cool.
3. Mix the raisins, apples, apricots, and pineapple and store in a tightly capped container.
