Grandma's Potato Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Red potatoes | 8 Medium, cubed | |
| 4 - 5 hard-cooked eggs, chopped | ||
| Mayonnaise | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Sour cream | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery seed | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 3 tsp. cider or red wine vinegar | ||
| Prepared mustard | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Minced onion | 1 1/2 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan, arrange the potatoes and cover with water.
2) Place over heat and bring the water to a boil.
3) Cook the potatoes to tender for about 15-20 minutes.
Drain water and allow cooling.
4) In a bowl, add potatoes along with eggs.
5) Add remaining ingredients and pour over potato mixture.
6) Toss all together to coat.
7) Cover with a lid and place inside refrigerator for 6 hours or overnight.
SERVING
8) Serve the potato salad by seasoning properly.
