Grandma's Vanilla Wafers Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs.
Blend in the vanilla and milk.
Sift together the flour and baking powder and add to the creamed mixture.
Stir well.
Shape into small balls and place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Flatten with a glass that has been dipped in sugar.
Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until done to taste.
Cool on the cookie sheet for several minutes.
Remove to a wire rack to cool completely
