Grandma's Seafood Casserole Recipe

Grandma's Seafood Casserole is a delicious recipe which I always love to have. I bet, once you have this Grandma's Seafood Casserole, you will always crave for some more.

Ingredients

 
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
 
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
 
1 (10 ounce) can cream of shrimp soup
 
2/3 cup milk
 
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
 
1/2 cup mayonnaise
 
2 cups crushed uncooked fine noodles
 
1 pound shrimp, cooked
 
1 pound crab meat, frozen or canned
 
1 (8-ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
 
1 (6-ounce) can French fried onions

Directions

Saute the mushrooms in the butter in a skillet over medium heat for a few minutes.
Combine the mushrooms, soup, milk, Cheddar cheese and mayonnaise in a large bowl and mix well.
Fold in the crushed noodles.
Chill, covered, for 2 to 3 hours.
Stir in the shrimp, crab meat and water chestnuts.
Spoon into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
Top with French-fried onions.
Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes longer.
