Grandma Hummel S Currant Tarts Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Currants | 1 box | |
| Your favorite pastry pie shell | ||
Directions
Beat sugar and eggs together until thick.
Stir in salt and vanilla.
Fold in currants.
Line muffin tins with thinly rolled pastry shell.
Fill 2/3 full with preceding mixture.
Bake at 350° for about 20 minutes.
Can also be made on cookie sheet and cut into squares.
